Our vision is to enable children to become lifelong learners by creating a safe, enjoyable and inclusive learning environment that nurtures individuality and enhances potential so children become successful members of our British and global society. 

Our values are:

Ensuring safety and promoting enjoyment:

Recognising that every child is unique is at the heart of what we do.  We take a child-centric approach to developing every child's talents, knowledge and interests within a safe and enjoyable environment.

Developing a love of learning:

Learning is an active, lifelong pursuit.  We nurture our children to become lifelong, independent learners through an environment that suits their academic and personal needs and accepts that taking risks and making mistakes are essential skills to successful learning.

Embracing diversity and inclusivity:

Equality is a fundamental aspect of British Values.  We acknowledge and embrace diversity across our children and staff, and encourage children to respect the rights of everyone at Harvey Road School and be proud of themselves and each other.

Enhancing potential:

Each child has tremendous potential and should seek success.  We open new doors and broaden horizons; supporting every child to develop a keen sense of aspiration and ambition, while performing to the best of their abilities in all aspects of school life.

Engaging the community:

Our community matters.  We continually develop strong links with the local and wider community to provide opportunities for our children to make a difference beyond the classroom, supporting community initiatives and improving the world around them.
