Harvey Road School’s Breakfast Club aims to provide pupils from Reception through to Year 6 with a safe and fun place to start their school day.
The club is informal and friendly, allowing children a choice as to how they start the day: some children like to wake up slowly, others prefer to get on and play. The club provides for both; a quiet space (for reading or drawing for example) and a wide range of varying play activities, along with more structured activities ensures that our children have a settled and fun experience at the start of their school day.
Each morning a nutritious breakfast is provided. The children are encouraged to help themselves, sit down and talk together, and then clear up their dishes: the idea is that our breakfast replicates as far as possible the atmosphere of a family meal and creates a growing independence for our young pupils.
Every effort will be made to accommodate the needs of your child. If your child has special needs/disabilities and requires extra support, please discuss this with the Breakfast Club team. The club is only available to pupils who attend Harvey Road School.
It operates every school day from 7.30 – 9.00am at a cost of £5.75 per day and a reduced fee of £5.25 for siblings, that attend on the same day.
If you wish to apply for the club please read the terms and conditions below and complete the registration form and return it to the Breakfast Club Leader at: firstname.lastname@example.org
