Nursery Afternoon Club
The Harvey Road School Nursery is open every school day from 9 am – 3.15 pm. The day is split into two sections with the morning running from 9 am until 12 noon and the afternoon session from 1.15 pm until 3.15 pm. All children are expected to attend every morning session, with the afternoons being optional.
The afternoon provision is only available to children in Harvey Road School who attend our nursery in the morning. It is led by our Nursery teacher, who is supported by specialist early years staff.
The afternoon sessions are available for all parents of our nursery children. If you are eligible for the 30 hours childcare scheme then this all day service is free. If you are not eligible then there is a cost of £16 per session.
During the afternoons, children will experience a wide range of different, exciting and engaging activities that are not only in keeping with what they will have been doing during the morning session but also providing a quality that you would expect from Harvey Road School. They will also have access to both indoors and outdoors activities along with the best facilities and most importantly the best staff delivering exceptional childcare.
Children who are staying for the afternoon club are required to bring their own packed lunch which they eat together and there is time to explore a huge range of resources through play during the afternoon session. This service offers a lovely social as well as educational experience for the children and helps them make friends.
